Using the product
Plants obtain nutrients from the soil. They need nutrients to be able to grow. This is particularly important for new plants and the reason why starter fertilizer is used. Starter fertilizer adds nutrients and minerals to the soil so that the new plant can absorb these with its roots. In addition to stimulating plant growth, these nutrients also prevent leaf fall and protect the plant against diseases and pests.

The amount of fertilizer required depends on the plant’s height. You need to use the following amount of starter fertilizer (one tablespoon of starter fertilizer is approximately 15 grams):
- Plant height 40-100 cm: 100 grams per plant
- Plant height 100-150 cm: 125 grams per plant
- Plant height 150-200 cm: 150 grams per plant

Apply the starter fertilizer to the mixed soil under the plant along the entire length of the trench. Once you have applied the fertilizer, use a rake to mix it carefully into the soil.

Starter fertilizer is applied as soon as the new plant has been planted. The fertilizer provides the plant with enough nutrients for the first 100 days to enable it to grow properly.
